Lovely site, I have tried the coloured sunflowers before but it was in the kids garden and they didn't survive. Also had a few lovely varieties of coreposis, red and pink/white.

Look forward to future postings, the azalea is beautiful.

What a great aptonym is Minxter! Peonies, for those what have them established are blooming here (zone 3) in all their citrus scented glory. Ahh, next year for me.

In bloom now I have columbine, Jacob's Ladder, the ill-colored Delphinium which redeems itself when cut and dragged inside to indoor lighting, and lovely deep blue bearded iris. How did I end up with blue in shade, part sun, and mini prairie? The iris will have to be moved out of the prairie to a proper cottage bed. With the cabin construction over it can return to a place of honor near the front door.

Time to clean the guinea pig cage. Rhinestones become you.

A very nice site, and well named. I have a thing for native plants, and at one point seriously was working on getting to know the names of the various mosses, lichens and liverworts that are local to me. Then I started working full time darn it, and there just is not time for everything.
